SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

If you know how to access the region code, then I suggest you give it the code for "0" then you will not need to change it again. It should play back all.

When a DVD disc is created, it is encoded with a "Region number." The disc will only play on DVD players with the same Region number - for instance, a Region 3 disc won't play on a Region 1 player.
Region 1: U.S. and U.S. Territories, Canada
Region 2: Japan, Western Europe, Middle East, South Africa
Region 3: South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast and East Asia Region 4: New Zealand, Australia, Pacific Islands, Mexico, Central/
South America
Region 5: Russia and the former Soviet Union, Africa, Indian
subcontinent, North Korea Region 6: China
The only way to get around the region codes, is to rip a DVD to your computer and remove the region code. Then burn the DVD to a DVD R. There are programs around on the net, but I'm not sure it is legal in all countries.
Google for the programs.
A DVD player sometimes allows you to change the region code once. But it not even would allow you to switch back after you changed it once.

Cant play a region 1 dvd

The DVD and *and* the DVD player both have a region code embedded in each. A map of the regions used appears below:

steve_con_2.gif

Regions 0, 7, 8 & 9 do not appear as they represent "No Region Coding" "Unused" "Cruise Lines" and "Region Free" respectively.

A DVD player will only play a matching region code DVD, or the player OR DVD have one (or more) 0, 7, 8, or 9 region codes imbedded. You'll not be able to change the DVD code, but you *might* be able to change the region code of your player. Computer DVD players can sometimes be flashed to a new region more readily than the entertainment system DVD players, but it relies solely on the manufacturer and model of the player. Some require file be downloaded and run, while others require a DVD or CD be created and played with a specific file saved on it. Here's a link to results that discuss how to change the region code for DVD players. You'll need to know at the very least the manufacturer and model number of you player to begin.

I hope this helps and good luck! If you found this helpful, please rate my reply 4 "thumbs up". Thanks!

I own a 5-DVD Changer with a Home Theatre System. It is an LG Model # LH-E932TB. It was working great then all of a sudden it now says ''CHECK REGIONAL CODES''. Does anyone know what to do...

Have you changed the Regional Code of the DVD changer? Changing of Regional Code of the Changer is permitted for 5 times. To view movies of different region code, some people change it. Suppose you or someone have viewed a movie of different region movie after changing the region code & now you are trying to view a DVD of your region. In this case you will have to change the region code to your region. Changing of region code is available through the setup of the Changer.

I dont know my code i buy my portable dvd dp172bp in dubai, uae now im here at canada and i cant use any kind of dvd because they asking to check the regional code..

Your player needs a region change. You could consult a local dealer on changing it. Check your owners manual if this player has a region change option. You cannot go back and forth between regions. If you need to do that then find yourself a region free player.

Region Codes?

Wikipedia has a good article on this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_region_code

If you have a stand alone player you probably can't change the region code unless the manufacturer built it into the option screens (menus accessible via remote/panel buttons). It is possible to change the region code on computer drives. Here's a site dedicated to changing region codes:
