Hello,

This will be a bit difficult because there are thousands or hundreds of expert online at a time, so when your chat comes in, it depends on the experts online that will attend to you, Drifterk might not even be online at that moment or might even be online but may not be the lucky person to pick your chat when it comes in.

So i suggest, you can use other experts online to get any information as regards the problem with your device, they will guide and give you details on how to go about it, a trial will convince you with other exper that will help diagnose your issue and you may be fortunate that when your chat comes in, it may be drifterk that will attend to it. Another thing is, you can log in your chat within the period you last chat with drifterk, perhaps, that may be the time the expert is always online.

    Trouble is, I don't have time right then since most of the time I present this from my work place...and I wait to go home to implement the solution and give feedback. So it carries on for some days.



    In any case did you get to see my thread (description of problem?). And if you answer to it I may answer back the next day !!!



    However, I was told I will find a link to my full thread from before....but I could never find that link on my screen. Where is it?

GO TO My Profile at the top right of this page, then in the next page that opens scroll down to the bottom right of page and u will find all the problems u have ever posted listed under My Problems, click on the problem from June and then in the next window use the link to directly contact the origininal expert that helped u.

    Before I painfully wrote to you, I tried to get back to DrifterK. I went to MY PROBLEMS, found the thread and then I never could find the way to send this to DrifterK (my original expert). Hence this came to you.

    I am not a 100% qualified expert on your problem, but if u restate the entire problem to include all details of the problem plus whatever has been done by you in an attempt to repair the problem i will try to help, please include e3xact information, this is model and make etc.

    That is strange.

    Yesterday I signed up for the monthly subscription, and posted the full thread (painstakingly) of this existing problem and submitted it. I cannot see the fukll thread here, and I do not know here it got submitted. The full thread had all the details (except I did not put the model and S/N of my laptop...which I thought was irrelevant to this software goof by Cyberlink). Tonite when I go home I will post it again as a reply to this thread. We will see how that goes.

    I will try to word this as concise and precise as possible. Won?t be easy. I lost precious data:I had burnt my personal files to DVD s using Power 2 Go secured burn. To my dismay cyberlink had messed up the burn in one of 3 DVD?s that I had burnt. That too, part of the DVD is fine and part of it messed up, how strange. The PROBLEM: When I look at the folders in this DVD, raw encrypted files by the 'filename' are listed with a .ENC extension. However the problem is that some of these files have a .ENC.ENC extension (doubled up. The burner must have messed theseup. The decryption software also appears in this DVD itself, called Security Browser.exe. I thought I could trick the computer by running this decryption software twice, on the doubled-up files,and thus get to view the contents: So as a first step, I just copied the entire contents of this DVD to the hard disk. [This contains, on the top level a folder called ?Secured Folder? and the files in them are the encrypted files with .ENC extensions, and also the Security Browser software itself]. Then per the normal method, I execute the Security Browser by dutifully entering the password and it opens the folders, some of which are readable files and other (bad ones) appear as ?filename.pdf.ENC .!!!! I save these 'undecrypted' ?filename.pdf.ENC files onto the desktop, by dutifully ?extracting? them from this decrypted ?Power 2 Go? window. ( I tried alternate methods thinking I can just erase the .ENC extension physically, but I can do that only after ?extraction? and even then it shows only ?gooble-di-gook? in them). Then I physically drag and drop these undecrypted ?filename.pdf.ENC files back into the DVD disk Folder called ?Secured Folder?, to join in with the other files that do open properly. Now I plan to dutifully open this DVD disk folder by running the security browser once again, and entering the password. When I do this, those files Vanish in the decrypted Power2Go Window. Meaning, they do not show at all, although they are still there in the Secured Folder. So this double decrption does not do the trick. Are there any other trick that can be thought of?

    ..than if this didnt work ..try to decrypt them separately ?? ..execute the program again but browse (or see if it undecrypts ) the double ones...and if does,,drag them into computer in the decrypted form ..at the final join them to have the whole content decrypted.. ...something like you would have a double packed zipp one in the other ..you ..unzip the main ...than click on the other and choose he program to execute the decryption (insert password again ....

    - I tried what you said in your last writing executing directly from DVD…open folders using password…the double ENC becomes single ENC while the original single ENC become readable files in this Power2Go window…Then I right click one of the undecryted single ENC and say OPEN and browse to pick the special Cyberlink Browser.exe program,and sure enough it opens…Having tested this I now start again to legally open the DVD with my password and I find the double ENC converted to singleENC and so I try the same rightclick method and browse the special application but nothing happens. The file stays just like that………….However, Very Interesting Observation, if this might give you a clue (although I am losing hope because Cyberlink guys replied back very tersely, “there is no workaround to open the ENC.ENC. files)… When I remove the disk from the disk drive and then try this right click method on the ENTIREdisk folder that I had copied to the hdd it does not work at all meaning although I can browse to the Browser.exe application it does not kick in…..And again the strangest thing is that it does work even without the disk in the disk drive if I just double click on the Browser.exe application in this ENTIREdisk folder that I copied to the hdd…………….This last anamoly should give you some clue as to why the application does not kick in when I right click the second time around on one of the files…..Please let me know your thoughts….Sorry I was busy till now

I had xbox live but now it will not connect it is not modified

there it is a complicated problem your tv seem to have one big problem with the supply module inside him the power current was accidentaly increased and now your tv dont respond better and your picture is enlarged because had a big alimentation current and now you must to go in authorized service to fix that problem

Might I suggest that you:
Signin back to FixYa;
view/go to the Chat Session Transcript;
somewhere down the bottom would be "Post a Comment..." right below the "Print Session"
thereafter, the system would post both of your responses and seemingly continue the Chat though with some time delay.
