It is best to replace it. If you strip another plug and tape it you will short the whole computer out maybe not right away but it will happen.
buy another cord and replace it is the best thing to do

Freezes immediately i connect the charger

This is a familiar defect of many Toshiba laptops. You'll need to resolder the power plug. Here's a great illustrated Toshiba laptop repair manual for the power plug and Maxim chip resolder. The repair takes about an hour and it's fairly easy to do.

Battery stop charging with my hpnc2400 laptop can be intermittent

When you plug the adapter into the laptop's power socket and wriggle this plug does the charge LED light flash? If so the laptop has a faulty power socket or a power socket has dry solder joint on the motherboard.
This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get access to the power socket. I suggest you get a quote for this repair before you get it repaired.

Toshiba L300 satellite --- Power cord does not connect!

There are several companies online, or you can find someone in your area, the "AC Power Jack" that you plug into, is soldered onto the Motherboard using 2-4 "Prongs", one or more of yours has "Broken", and isn't making a connection, while the Price of the part is cheap, the repair is "Difficult" if you are trained to do the repair, but I have done 6 or 7 myself, so it is possible, But damage to the Motherboard can occur when soldering the new jack in,"Burning" a contact or something, best to take it to a repair shop,$150-$175, or $5-15 if you can do it yourself, Again "DIFFICULT", so the repair shop is your best bet, the online companies have Guaranties against damage. Google "Laptop DC jack repair"
http://www.DCJackRepair.NET is in the sponsered results. There are self help pages for the repair,
Please read DISCLAIMER on the page, hope this helps, Please rate it a fixya,

Cracked laptop screen

Need to take this in and have it serviced, depending on the laptops' worth, ide consider another laptop OR plug an external monitor into it which makes it a bit hard to transport unless it's a small led monitor.

Adapter plug, for battery which is on the back is loose how do i fix it

Do you mean the socket on the laptop where the plug from the adaptor plugs into? If that is damaged it can be replaced by a repair shop and sometimes by a skilled user. The repair typically involves a fairly in depth disassembly of the laptop so the user would need to have fairly decent mechanical aptitude, a good assortment of small screwdrivers and experience handling electronics. If the laptop is still in warranty I would strongly recommend sending it to the manufacturer for repair. It may not be a warranty repair; however, if anyone else takes it apart you will void your warranty on anything else that may go wrong in the future.
