My machine clicks 3 times around the the door lock then flashes 400 and 800 and flashes end

Hello, My name is Mike, welcome to fixya.

I am thinking you probably broke the door switch/lock mechanism and the machine thinks the door is open. little piece in the lock catch. need to Possibly need to replace the door lock, The switch is know as a safety lock switch for obvious reasons, to make sure it closes from water leaking and triggers safety as well. The idea between this is that it is a safety feature for mostly kids, so that when the washer is on that high speed spin cycle, that a child does not open up lid and stick there arm or hand in and have it injured. Most washer are designed so that the washer will only wash and spin when the washing machine lock is engaged. Also sometimes it will not allow it to even start,as it thinks door is not closed.
Sometimes the door might have got a little bent or warped. So first try with door pushing in. If still wont operate most likely it is that switch/lock that hook goes into. You should unplug it prior to testing switch/lock and fiddling with it,, after you plug it back in, you might get lucky and have it work after plugging it back in. But I believe most likely it will be the switch/lock that needs replacing. I hope this helps, MIKE

BEKO WMA 765 S Hi there, my washing machine wont start any program that I select. The display and functions appear to work but wont start? I was unsure as to whether a fault with the door switch was...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Although it is always difficult to diagnose from a distance I think you could be right! Either the locking mechanism or the sensor. Can you hear it locking? Does the lock look as if it could be adjusted and, if so, could you do it yourself?
Otherwise it is a service call-out ;-0(

Good luck,
John C

How do I use the Child Lock option on Samsung WF-B1456GW?

Hi there,

You can use the child lock feature in 2 ways.

1. To prevent operation of the washing machine when no wash cycle is running

To set this feature, switch the machine on using the POWER button at the top-left of the control-panel. Next, press and hold both the SPIN and RINSE buttons for about 3 seconds - until the child lock light indicator on the control panel illuminates. All functions of the washing machine will now be disabled apart from POWER ON/OFF until such time as the child lock is deactivated.

To deactivate the child lock, press and hold the SPIN and RINSE buttons again until the child lock light indicator on the control panel goes out.

2. To prevent any tiny fingers from tampering with the machine while a program is running.

After pressing the START/PAUSE button to start the wash cycle, press and hold the SPIN and RINSE buttons until the child lock light indicator illuminates. All buttons on the control panel will now be disabled until the child lock has been disabled. When the wash cycle has finished, you will need to switch the child lock off again to reactivate the buttons. Once you have finished using the washer, reactivate the child lock again before switching the power off as above.

The feature can also be used when using the delayed start feature, but needs to be set after pressing the START/PAUSE button.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

My Kenmore Elite Oasis HE model number: 110.27072603 washing machine shows LID error code. It wont work at all.... went half way through cycle... help.

this washer has a lid switch problem...or possible main board failure, but lid does concentrate on the lid safety switch. If you remember when you open the lid it stops..well, its a safety feature and prevents tub from spinning with lid open...this one is more difficult to service if your not use to working on washers...try unplugging machine and leaving off for awhile...does the door lock? check switch for lid fault

My wash machine does every thing but spin can you help

The machine does everything but spin because there's a problem in the door lock and switch assembly. The machine control detected the door lock is not activated. This is a safety feature of the machine that prevents the machine from advancing to the spin cycle. The door lock and switch assembly needs to be replaced.
