How do u fix a mp3 player that dropped on the ground and in water

I droped my mp3 player in water and on the ground and now it wont turn on

Try to take the battery out and then, dry the poles of the battery and the mp3 player, then leave it in a dry place over night and try again.

Put the unit in a bag of rice,uncooked rice for 8 to 16 hours.This should absorb water out of the MP3 player.

well renda, when you drop an apple ipod nano 4gb mp3 player in water its bound to stop working even if its new so get a new one would be my solution.

I hate to say it, but it may be time to get a new one. Water and electronics don't mix very well.

I droped it in the water

If it was turned on when it went into the water, it may have shorted out some circuits. Not too sure if that can be fixed though, you may have to invest in a new one, maybe Santa Claus will bring you one for Christmas!!

maybe your screen is damaged because i had a phone and droped it and the screen went black and it could not be fixed.

According the manual, the reset hole is on the rear near the bottom.

Sorry mate. Seems the drop was a bit much to much for it. You should consider replacing it, And be a bit more careful next time.
