Basically you have a power wire which should be wired to a switched connection and a memory wire which should be wired to a unswiched connection. look on your fuse box under the dash and connect the power wire first to a switched fuse (one that shuts off the radio when you turn off key) then look for a fuse (with same power wire )that when you turn off the key the radio stays on, this is the fuse that you connect the memory to,or you can connect the memory wire directly to the battery but you must use an inline fuse or you burn up your radio,car etc.

No mater what color sceme you have the wires all play the same roll. Ground/ power/ common. B/W , Red, Yellow, purple/wh, brown , some cases blue, blue /wh and green. Check all wires for power on and off circuit with test light. black to ground - side speaker rd to + side etc;

No memory

check to make sure you don't have the batt+ wire and switched 12v wire mixed up. batt+ is usually yellow or orange while the switched 12v wire is usually red, consult the manual or look on the unit itself. there should be a wire color description there. batt+ is what you want 12v running to all the time to keep the settings. switched 12v is the one that turns the unit on when the key is turned on. the unit will still operate if the 2 are backwards but like you said it will clear the memory every time you shut it off because your cutting power to the batt+ wire thus resetting the unit.

Powered subwoofer wiring

Red = 12v power Always
Black = Ground Allways
Blue = memory wire that has to run to a Amplifiers Memory Terminal
2x White, seems to be the dimmer and Ant, but im unsure as of these two,

Rca's will go into the AUDIO out of the cd player RED and White holes, that will go to your amplifier.

Im unsure if your talking about a Cd player here, but it seems this it is. If so you should have color coded wires for speakers also (ex- green, green with white stripe, Yellow, yellow with white stripe )
Please provide more information if this dosent solve your problem

Thank you

Installing Alpine CDE-9852 CD Reciever In A Ford Mercury Sable LS

well most commen tool is a phillips head screw driver (+) to remove components to get the old deck out you'll need a dash kit to mount the new radio in 15 buck from canadian tire or audio shop...
the easyest way to wire this up would be getting a harness to plug into the factory harness too get the color code and then u just make the connections red to red yellow to yellow makes it real simple that way... the other way is to get the hanes manual for your vehicle then find out what color each wire is then yu have to cut the factory harness wire up from the book takes alot longer but can be done its worth the 12-20 dollars to get the job done if you need more help ask
