Where is the drain plug on this unit goldstar 6500 airconditione

I have a gwh 6500r goldstar air conditioner. I have lost the manual. I need to know how the airconditioner drains the water. I can't find a drain plug on the unit

There is no drain plug,if it is not draining,then the drain holes are stopped up with trash and debris,remove the unit from the window,and take it out side,use a water hose to clean it out,and you will be fine,if this was at all helpful,please rate,thank you.

Water got into the plug. Unscrewed, drained as much as I could and set down on paper towels for a few days. Plugged back in & worked. Moved the cord while plugged in & the ac blew out and will...

Unit overheating and blowing fuses

Low gas pressur causing the unit to overwork/heat, water trap coolant service port blocked. Some machines need 1/2 liter of water pouerd into a reservoir on the rear to aid cooling the heat exchanger, if this is dry it will overheat. cheakc the filters if it has any.

I have a Goldstar model-GP120CE and it has stoped working and P2 appears on the display. I know the collection tank is full and im supposed to drain it but what and where is the collection tank??

Hi there,

There is two drain plugs on the back of the unit, you will need to drain the the bottom black plug, you need something to catch the water. hope this helps
