I was trying to upload pictures from a Olympus VG-110 micro sd flash drive. and i couldn't see the files saved in it.. why is this happening? Then we put the back the disk in the digicam and after turning...

SD cards (and most microSD adapters) have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

And yes, formatting the card will delete all the pictures on it.

I cannot delete a picture as the screen says file protected. How do I remove?

if you cant delete any pictures then your sd card is locked which means you take it out and slide the little movable plastic,
if its one pic then you must unlock it in the properties menu

When I turn on the Olympus FE190, the screen flashes "[IN} ! Memory full". What does that mean? What can I do to take pictures?

well you have to remove the pics already in the memory. Generally this can be done by downloading them to the PC then selecting the "Rubbish Bin" icon in menu and asking it to delete individuals or all.

please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

What does FL flashing on the screen means?

FL means Full (or Full Load). The camera has no more storage space to keep your pictures, so doesn't allow you to take them.

Inexpensive cameras like this do not have the option to add extra storage, so you are limited by what the manufacturer installs.

Along with the camera, you should have got a disk and cable in the kit. What you need to do is download the pictures onto your computer, then delete them from the camera memory (usually menu options on installed software).

At that point, your camera should be fit to take another set of pictures.

The camera is flashing a small 0 on the lcd screen what does this mean?

If you can get to the menus, reset all to factory settings as much as you can. Then test it to see how it reacts.

Green key shows on screen, cannot delete that photo

The key means that the picture is locked so you can not erase by accident. You need to remove the key be for you can erase the pic. If you have the manual it will tell you how. if not get me the model of camera and I will get you a manual.

,y DXG 538 digital camera has no flash and pictures in screen

ok, for starters, the 4028x1260 is the resolution, meaning, the picture quality and shape...in computer terms, the number of pixels in the picture...the higher the number the better...usually

anyway, to turn on the flash, push the "Set" button. in the lefthand side of the screen...i think. will be a symbol that changes. the A means automatic, the O with a line through it means no flash, and the others are useless.

to make them brigter, in the menu you should see a thing that says E.V. {somenuber}.{someOTHERnumber}

ie. 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and it goes to negative 2.0 as well.

the higher the number the brighter the pic

Flashing text on screen

I am sorry that I can not tell you exactly what that code means, Sony only releases the complete list of error codes to their employees. What I can tell you is that many error codes can be clear by reinitializing the camera’s internal software. In the Menu select Initialize.
If resetting the program does not clear the error then it’s a hardware problem. In the USA this camera has a 1 year warranty. Contact Sony repair at http://www.sony.com/service or 1-800-222-SONY (7669).

Are you using a TRUE Sony Memory Stick? Or another Brand, some non-standard flash memory doesn't "erase" files correctly when told to do so, it may simply just remove the files name, or it's suffix, meaning that the stick essentially still holds all the old data, its not a faulty memory stick, it is just down to an incompatibility issue. Try using sticks made by either sony or sandisk
