SOURCE: My Duo-therm Brisk-Air by Dometic rv ac wont cool.(The fan runs )

Usually just listening closely will give you a rough idea where to look for problem. When you have the fan on and switch to cool, (with temperature turned down low obviously) do you hear any type of "moaning" sounds from AC unit, or see lights in RV dim slightly indicating that compressor is trying to engage? Is the breaker tripping when compressor tries to engage? Do you hear a "click" from AC unit when switched to cool? If none of that happens, then I'd start thinking thermostat, or compressor relay. Normally if it's a faulty capacitor, the compressor will try to engage but will make a "moaning sound" and usually trip the breaker due to excess current draw. Someone experience in electrical should be able to test relays etc, but whoever does work on it, should be aware that those capacitors, as well as hydro in general are very dangerous to work with. The ("zap",- Shock) that you can experience from a capacitor or hydro, can be fatal.

SOURCE: compressor is blowing breaker, fan comes on.

You have a faulty start capacitor. The capicitor helps start the motor ... since it is not doing its job, the motor draws LOTS more power from the line popping the breaker. Have your professional RV service center service your AC.

Testimonial: "I am a technical Instructor for a major import, so I know my way around HVAC. so glad to have someone who can pin point the problem I found that the motor start fuse on top of the capacitor is melted. it still has some continuity, but looks like your diagnosis will fix it."

My ac fan will not come on when i turn on my ac on my infinty g35 2005 whats the problem

If by AC Fan you mean the blower that forces air out of the vents in the dash, the problem could be a blown fuse, a bad switch, a bad fan motor, or a loose wire.

If you mean that the AC compressor under the hood never kicks in and generates cool air, it is probably low on freon.

LG split unit AC works perfectly for 2 hours and then it stops blowing cool air

Check the amp draw on the condenser fan motor against the rating on the nameplate. motor may be getting weak and shuts down on thermal overload. If the amps are high you have a motor going bad, change it.

Working but not cooling

Check and make sure its on cooling mode and just not "fan only"

You should be able to hear the compressor start up a few seconds after the fan starts. One easy way to tell if an AC is working on cooling is it should be blowing hot air outside and cold air inside. If not, you may have a gas leak or the compressor is not starting..
