Question about Yamaha HTR-5790 Receiver
My receiver is about 6 years old. Never had any problems. Last night there was a power outage, however the unit is pluggeid into a surge protector and now it will not turn on. All I get is a fast clicking noise. Sounds similar to the click you hear when you turn the unit on or off. Any suggestions?
I am sure you have tried and disconnecting all the speakers and taking the unit to another outlet right? If it works you fried your surge and need to replace it. Otherwise the unit went into that strange power protection mode
