Question about Frigidaire GLGT1031C Dryer
I have a Frigidaire GLGT1031CS1 stacked washer/dryer unit that is about 5 years old. The dryer still works like new, but the washer suddenly stopped switching cycles, as if the timer is bad. It will fill with water and begin agitating, but the knob never moves and so it never rinses or drains. Is this something I can fix?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hello Laura Clark - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, you possibly have a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Try setting the cycle to spin only and verify if water pumps out. If it does not, the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with the pump, door lock assembly or timer. Since it is such a complex unit, I suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately

Hello trinileigh19 - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have either the pump or timer diagnose.
