Did you see any error message? If so I would need to know that. If not, follow the instructions below;
Remove the cartridges, Turn off the printer, disconnect usb cable, ethernet cable, power cord, leave it for few minutes and again turn it on with only the power cord connected, Leave it on for another few minutes, then turn ir off again, connect the cables like usb and ethernet. Power on the machine while you keep pressing the power button, Install the cartridges and check whether this helps or not.
You also need to clean the machine using blower or similar machines to blow out the dust and dirt. Please check the paper passages and carriage.

Let me know after you are done with all these with the error shown on the system or on the computer.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Hello,

Start up your printer. Wait until it has powered on completely before beginning.

Open the printer's lid and place your item on the copying surface with the side you want copied face-down on the glass. Double-check the alignment.
Shut the printer's lid. For large items, such as books, you may want to remove the printer lid rather than forcing it closed .Choose the kind of copy you want: black-and-white or color. You also may have to select the kind of paper that you are copying.

Size the copy to the page if desired. Some multi-function printers allow you to expand or shrink the original to fit different sizes of paper.
Enter the number of copies you want. You may do this on the multi-function printer or in the print setup of your computer. Make sure the paper tray has enough paper to finish your copying job.

Press the "Start" button. Other names for this might be the "Copy" or "Print" button.
Remove the pages as they are delivered from the printer's feeding mechanism. Do not tug on the copies as they come out. Let them fall into your hands.
Take care.

    Hello,

Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically
    clear some or
all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the
front panel display for the area where the jam occurred. If your printer
shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if
that identifies the area of the printer where the jam occurred.

    Turn
    off the printer.
Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled
    or damaged paper.
Open any other doors that give access to the
    printer's paper path and to
    the toner or ink cartridge.
If necessary, remove the toner or ink
cartridge. Place it in a bag or
away from light to avoid damaging it.If you find a piece of jammed
paper, remove it by holding it with both
hands and pulling firmly, The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If
    several pieces are jammed
together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jamIf
the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free
the paper. Don't force anything, though.
    Replace the toner or ink
cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you
opened and turn the printer back on.
If the printer paper jam message
still appears, then there is still some
paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.

If the problem still persist, i advice you unplug the printer and plug it back after few minutes, while the printer is booting/loading, pull the plug out of the socket to reset the printer, and plug back after some minutes, with this, the problem should be solve.

    Take care.

Printer will not print more than one copy even though I have selected more than one.

Press the 'copy' button to change the printer from 'fax' to 'copy' first, then enter the number of copies you require, then press start - if you enter the number of copies when the printer is still on 'fax' and then change to 'copy' the number of copies will reset to '01' (this is to stop you printing a telephone number of copies by mistake).

Hello,

Need a bit of clarification on this...

So when you try to print something you see more than one printer (Brother Copy 1 and copy 2)??

Seems like it's listed more than once in your printers folder. Depending on your operating system, you need to find your printers (windows it is in control panel, under printers). Simply delete the unwanted ones, right click the one you want as default and select set as my default printer (again in windows).

Hope this helps

Blue Color On Copies

Check your settings for copying through your printer software. You might have accidentally messed up some copy settings there (Contrast, etc.)

Rollers do not have anything to do with this because your regular prints and copy prints are fed through the same roller.

Try removing your printer from Device Manager. Completely remove your printer software and reinstall all this stuff like you're installing a brand new printer. There is a 90% chance that your printer will be find after this.

Hope that helps.

Good luck!

Nothing coming up on the copy

Hi There, when you mean copy, do you mean copying from the printer to the computer, or from the printer to paper. If from printer to paper, try checking the settings on the printer. It may be copying to your computer in a my pictures folder. Try that and see what happens.

Unable to cop

You can not use the copy feature if your printer is "printing". You can scan while other is printing simply because scanning is not using the printer's print heads. Therefore if you are printing, you can not copy at the same time.

Is your printer printing OK? So you should be able to copy as well. Press COPY button when the printer is ready. Basically, you have the Copy (Black) and Copy Color options. If you have 1 option only, pressing COPY makes you choose black or COlor using the keypad selector. Just choose any option and press OK or START.

My hp 1320 prints multiple copies instead of one copy

Go to "printers and faxes."
Right click on your printer and select "Printing preferences."
Select "Advanced" tab
Double click "paper output"
If "Copy count=2" then change to 1 and apply
IF IT ALREADY IS SET TO 1 THEN:
Set "copy count=2" then APPLY
Repeat the above and now set "copy count=1"

The process of setting and resetting the copy count fixed my issues.

My hp 1320 prints only one copy

Windows may have eaten its baby again- that is, the driver for that printer.
Open the Control Panel, then Printers and Faxes, delete any listing for that model of printer, make sure the printer is on and connected, then reboot your system. This will force Win to 'find' the printer and install an uncorrupted driver for it.
