Remove the bar and chain and wash out the clutch internals with spray carburetor cleaner. Clean the side of the engine case, start the engine and watch for oil oozing out of the side port. Clean the bar drive-end small oil passages that go out to the chain groove on each side and clean the entire chain groove. If oil came out of the engine side port ok, then re-assemble the bar and chain, but leave the cover fasteners only finger tight. Tighten the chain so that the chain comes up to the bar, but not so tight that the chain can't be pulled by hand. Tighten the cover fasteners and recheck the chain tension. Make sure the chain teeth cut toward you on the bottom run and that the chain is properly sharpened. Hope this helps!

Mc culloch trimmac 250 LS triming head is only rotating very slowly and stops when i go to strim there does not seem anything wrong with the cable between the engine and the cutting head

It certainly sounds like an issue with the flex drive, or maybe where it fits into either the gear head or the clutch drum, it may have rounded the inner connection where the flex drive fits into.

What are the carb. adjs. on a Mc culloch chain saw model cs 38em

If it bogs down like it's getting too much fuel, turn the low side screw out about 1/8 of a turn at a time until it will rev without bogging. If it chokes down like it's not getting any fuel, you probably need to open up the high screw a little.

BTW, you can determine which screw is which by looking at the carb at the base of the will have a L for Low or H for High stamped near it.

After having my Mc Culloch sharpened

You may have the chain on backward. The teeth on the bottom of the bar have to have the sharp edge coming at you in order to cut anything. Hope this helps you, Jeepfxr

What is the oil-gas ratio and the bar oil for a Mc Culloch Mac130

You should be safe with a 32:1 mixture unless you are a logger. And any Bar Chain Oil should work fine.
