I turn on my tv and there is blurring and I have red lettering on the screen with the normal lettering plus there is shadowing of all the letters what should I do?

The issue is with the failed convergence (STK) ICs which needs to be replaced.It’s not a difficult job if you want to do this yourself, you should require some basic knowledge about soldering-resoldering components. To start with you’ll have to open the back of the unit and then replace the ICs (STK ICs) which are located behind the black heat sink and also check the resistors as if they are short the ICs might blow again after sometime. There are repair kits available which includes repair instructions with the parts, if you want to do it yourself, you can buy and repair it yourself.
