Make sure that you are getting even water pressure on both side. These automatic pool cleaners, if they get an obstruction on one side, will not have the adequate pressure to maneuver properly and will only go in one direction.

Dust goes to filter

is the canister sealing properly? The air enters the canister under high pressure and it should slow down greatly in there so the heavier (dust) particles will fall to the bottom of the canister and the air should then pass through the filter under a reduced pressure. If the air is easily escaping the canister area without slowing down the dust cannot settle. It should look like a cyclone in the canister, if it's not swirling in one direction but rather bouncing around, look at the inlet to the canister for build up or an obstruction also. If the canister is not sealing the the air will remain moving rapidly and carry the dust along with it. I would also check your filter for a tare along the seam.

My oreck magnesium keeps turning off. Blue. Light keeps blinking

THE PROBLEM SEAMS TO BE WITH THE THICKNESS OF THE CARPET AND THE PAD-ALL VACUUMS NEED TO BE ABLE TO BREATHE IF THE PAD AND THE CARPET ARE THICK THE VACUUM WILL PULL ITSELF TOWARD THE FLOOR SLOW DOWN THE BRUSHROLL ENOUGH TO TRIGGER THE AUTO SHUTDOWN ON THE MAGNESIUM BECAUSE THE VACUUM CANT BREATHE. TAKE IT TO YOUR LOCAL ORECK AND THEY CAN PUT A FEW HOLES IN YOUR SOLEPLATE AND THIS WILL TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUE.

I am doing some sashes for a wedding and i want to know on my serger 14SH654 ultralock how to do a rolled hem

A rolled hem on any overlocker is formed by using the right hand needle only, and the two loopers to form a narrow three thread seam. You also need to retract the seam width finger as Trial2962 said. This is a little finger that sits on the stitching plate and the loopers form the stitching over it. By retracting it, the looper threads can form a narrow seam and in fact, roll the fabric inside the seam. You need to move the cutting blade as far right as it will go so you are trimming as wide as possible from the needle, turn the tension on the top looper rigth down to 2 so it is very loose and this thread wraps around to the underside. And tighten the lower looper tension to about 7 so it hardly shows and sits right up against the needle thread. Adjust and test until you get the seam looking like this, then turn the stitch length dial (on the right side by flywheel) down to 0.5 to close the seam right up tight. Lastly, if you can source it in the right colour, buy woolly overlock thread and run this through the upper looper only, this thread is fluffy and when not under tension, relaxes and "fills" out so the seam appears like a continuous coverage over the fabric.

You will need to practice a few runs and go slowly on corners, a curve is obviously much easier to serge than a right hand cover so if you can, cut the fabric with curved ends, much easier to get a great finish. When you chain off at the end, you need to unravel the tail threads and pull them inside the seam for a few mm with a needle to get a smooth finish, then trim the tail and seal with a drop of Fray Stop.9_26_2011_11_26_51_pm.jpg

When i am slowing down the transmission seams to down shift hard at about 28-30 mph

I had something very similar and it turned out to be a loose bolt (or bushing). I think it was the engine mount. Good luck.

My Wheel Rolls EXTRA Slow!

Hey Kayla,

I had the same problem. What happened is i left mine in my car while i was working. This was not the first time either and when i got out of work in the late afternoon i noticed my sansa's wheel was incredibly hard to turn. I went home and searched for solutions and found your very same problem. I went downstairs and found that my dad had a pressurized can of Super Lubricant. 1 small, quick shot directly onto the wheel top and button got the spray lubricant on there good and i just wiped the excess lubricant into the wheel seams. Immediately start turning the wheel in either direction (try to switch back and forth) and it'll start to spin freely. The Heat of an enclosure like your purse or my car in the sun dries out lubricants just like the lube sansa applies in their factories to these products so just try this and tell me how it worked for ya if you still have it.

Sincerely,
Ben (belmont1@gmail.com) ( :

P.S. stop applying alcohol. That's more of a cleaner and all it will do is temporarily fix the glide sticking problem while simutaneously drying it out. Bad method...go with your every-day spray-lube.

The brushes spin by virtue of an air driven turbine. This turbine uses a little of the motor suction to turn a large fan which turns the brushes. If you look behind the clear glass window on the front right hand side of the machine, you will see a screen which acts as a filter to keep debris out of the turbine. If this screen becomes clogged, it will affect the flow of air to the turbine and the brushes will slow down or stop all togeather.
Also, if the lid of the recovery tank is not on correctly, the suction will be compromised and the brushes will not turn and the machine will not pick up water off the carpet.
