Question about Kenmore HE2 Plus Front Load Washer
Yoy will need to take off the bottom cover (3 star screws), locate the drain pump at front (the drain hose goes to it). It has a strainer in it which you turn counterclockwise to remove this will allow you to clean it out. Then one of the three tumbling blades inside can be removed to clean out the boot to the drain pump. Good luck!

If I am not mistaken the front lower panel comes off of the washer. However, the drain hose is in the back of washer. Normal attachment is to a plumbing standpipe. You can help a technician when you give model number details. Perhaps the problem is a kinked hose or a restriction in the washer pump. Somehow you need to get to the rear of the washer and lay the drain hose low enough to drain water into a container to empty the washer. Before you go to this effort, see if you can actuate the spin cycle to drain the washer.
