How do I connect wireless my MACBOOK & HP PHOTOSMART C4480

You need to connect your printer to a wireless router in your home/office. Once it's connected successfully, you then run the HP software on your computer and it will ask you how you want to connect to your printer. Select the option "Wireless" and then it will search your network for the IP address of your printer and then you should be able to print wirelessly to your printer.

I purchased mu HP Officeject 6500 Wireless within the past 12 months. I have had multiple instances where the printer stops scanning and sometimes stops printing. My tech guyhas fixed it 4-5 times and it...

Might be a problem with the router, or router location. Check the signal strength from the printer.
If your signal only has 1 or 2 bars, it could lose its connection very easily.

You should be able to move your modem and router, anywhere in the house, and it will not erase settings. Just have to have a strong cable signal going to the modem.

If the signal strength is not the problem, your router could be getting hot and cutting out. Or getting old and going bad. Try also resetting the router and reconfiguring it.

How do i set up my printer to print wirless after setting up the wireless wizard with my router

Presumably, the wizard helped you choose an SSID and a password.

On the controls on the HP printer, enter the SSID and the password,
and then the HP will try to connect to the wireless interface on the router.

We have a hp c4580 wireless printer and we are having problems with getting it to work. Can you please advice what to do. Bethany

Basically, you need to configure the HP C4580 printer with the same wireless settings of your network. Thus, you need to get the following information from your wireless router:

SSID or wireless network name
Type of Wireless Security
Wireless Security key/passphrase/password

To set those settings on the printer itself, you need to temporarily connect first your printer to the computer through USB. Then run the HP Printer Setup CD. It'll ask for you to install the required software then it'll ask for you to configure the printer on a wireless network. From then on, you will need to input the wireless settings that you got from your router.

I had hp 4200 all one series printer ,its shows offline message. How to fix the problem ?

bala626 --

If you are hard-wired to the printer (i.e. connected via USB), it's an easy fix... go to Start Button ---> Settings ---> Control Panel ---> Printers and Faxes... locate your printer in the list, right-click and select "Use Printer Online"

If connected through a wireless router, check the connectivity first, then set the printer "online" as above.

If you are still having problems, post a comment to this post, and I'll be glad to assiste further!

Hope this helps!

I have a HP C4380 and my laptop crashed - i reinstalled software but cannot remember the passphrase I used to connect the wireless printer - any way i can reset it?

Yes all routers have a reset button. So you will need to locate it on the router, and using a ball point pen hold the reset button for at least 30 seconds. This will reset the router to the factory default settings.

HP C6100 Wireless printer has stopped working

The HP C6100 series has had some ip setting issues. One day my printer didn't print. I checked the ip settings on the printer and got some 648.154.1.654 address. I had no clue where this ip number came from, because my router's ip is 192.168.0.1. I went into the settings of my printer and set my ip settings manual. Then I went into the router settings and reserved the ip setting I previously setting on the printer to the printers MAC address. I also set static ip address for each computer on my network. This network response issue started about one year after I purchased the printer. I still lose connection every once in a while, but rebooting the router reconnects the printer and everything sitting in the que to print starts to print. To stablize the issue: upgrade router firmware, set static ip address on your network devices, reserve those ip address in your router, , if all else fails reboot router.
