Question about Canon MP640 All-In-One InkJet Printer
If this is doing it during a print job then it is unlikely any setting will help. There are time outs for various things that could put it into sleep mode but all of those will reset the sleep timer as soon as it sees a print job.If this is the usb model then you can get this if it is plugged in the usb port at the same time as other devices. You will find that there will be one device it just wont play nice with. So as long as you keep the other one unplugged during printing it will behave,
If it is doing this in wifi mode then you have a problem with the printer itself and you will probably need to get it repaired or replaced. This will be covered under warrenty. If it isn't then you will want to check out the price of a replacement as the repair cost can cost more than that.
