Question about Flojet OnDemand Pump 49 GPM 12 Volt 34in

1 Answer

My flojet daiphragm pump sounds like its working but does't move the water. I thought maybe its picked up a blockage on the inlet but couldn't see a way to dismantle anything to check this. the pump is actually a flojet D3135H7011AR, the "product" box didn't accept that model number but presumably flojet pumps are all similar.

My flojet 4300-043 does not move much liquid even after prime, which I didn't think it needed.

FloJets don't need priming. If it isn't working properly, you just swap it out for a new one. We use them for soda syrups to a vending machine. They will pull syrup from a box through a 3/8" pipe with ease.

Flojet 2.9 GPM 50 PSI Water Pump pulses-no steady stream.

Is it whirl-pooling because the water is too shallow? One thing you can do to prevent this is to lay a piece of plywood over it. It will float and keep it from whirlpooling and sucking air.

We have a Flojet pump 4300-143 which is leaking water out of the slots of the bearing cover (no10 on the parts list). Would you know what is causing this and which parts we would need?

Sounds like the seal has gone bad.most hardware stores carry seal kits and some even install them for a fee.Replace the seal and that should solve your problem.
Hope this helps.

Dishwasher will not drain

I had a similer issue with my kitchenaid dishwasher , turned out that the water inlet valve was starting to go, allowing to much water into tub at times , so drain cycle would not remove it all. . There is a diaphragm in the water inlet valve that is operated by a solinoid that you can check, but you would have to remove it an test it. Hope this helps

My flojet 4305 drinking water pump on my boat does not pump as efficiently as in the past - how can I troubleshoot it?

when you close all cocks the pump must stop running after a short while, if not clean inside of pump (diaphragm and valves) and try again. If pump is continuously running try to pump 5 liter water of 70 deg. C if problem is still a continuously runnnig pump there is a electronical problem which can not be repaired or replaced in this modelrange

My flojet pump runs but it pumps no water . It is a 25 gallon sprayer

Sounds to me like it just needs priming (or in other words) the air bled out of it.
Using the force of gravity, force water to run STRAIGHT DOWN from the 25 gal tank, through the gate valve & into the running pump.
While doing this, close the bypass valve slowly until it's about 3/4 of the way shut.
You should begin to hear the sound of the pump begin to deepen as the air escapes.
If you don't, then there may be an air leak somewhere along the hose line, typically at the filter, causing it not to prime.
Correct the air leak, then you'll probably have better luck.

I recommend not running an electric pump like a Flojet for very long when it's not primed. Doing this may overheat it & shorten its lifespan considerably.

Upper tray does not wash clean, bottom does

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.
