Domestic Dm2652 will not work on AC without DC power is this correct. We have been camping for a week plugged into 30amp power. Refrigerator worked fine then check light came on and refrigerator...

This is an RV frig correct? It SHOULD work either/or. AC or DC. If your plugged into AC then often the frig will work with that alone. DC is for when you have no AC so you can power your appliances of the battery. Maybe you have a converter (AC to DC which most RV's do) that somehow is not getting the DC to the frig.

Replaced control board have 115 to board can't get 12v nothing lights on frig or in side where does 12v come from voltage is good in camper Couchman with Dometic md RM2652

The 12V comes from 2 wires that come from RV and affixed to a terminal block on fridge. Insure you have 12V at those wires. Also check the fuses located inside the main electronic board. Action 1: My RM2652 runs well on auto mode when its indicator's light is lit. Auto mode is an electric mode, right? Action 2: When I press on the "gas" button, the indicator's light next to the "auto"...

Auto mode is electric 1st then gas. If no 110v is available it tries to light the gas. Do you have gas & is it turned on? You should hear a clicking from the back of the frig. Make sure the air is purged out of the system by lighting your range and let the burners come on for 30 sec or so. You might have to cycle the frig on & off a couple of times after you purge the air. Set the button to "gas only".

My check light keeps coming on my dometic ref in my 5th wheel

I have had this problem also. My experience has been that the propane line to the frig has air in it, especially after not being used for a while. Here's what I do:

1) Make sure the propane tank valve is open.
2) Light one of the burners on the stove. This may take a while but keep the gas on and a lighter at the burner. This is safe becuase as the air purges from the line it just blows the flame (from the ligher) around. Then when the air is purged the gas lights. Let the burner run for a couple of minutes. This sounds a bit odd, but what you are doing is bringing the "gas" close to the frig. The frig does not have to purge all that air as you have already done most of the purging by getting the burner to light. The facory setting for the frig is to stop trying to light after 45 seconds, and the "Check" light comes on.
3) Now try the frig. It may a couple times, but it should light and work fine.

I have found that this technique also helps with lighting the hot water.

Dometic rv refrigerator

I found that they rewired the 12 volt supply, red wire, thru a heat safety switch on the burner unit and it was open instead of being closed and cut off the main 12 volt supply to the control board. I connected a jumper wire around the new switch and the frig works . either the new switch is bad or too close to the heating unit.
