Question about Gateway CX2618 Notebook
Randomly shuts down and shows a blue screen saying that there is a problem and windows must shut down to prevent damage, then restarts again
Make sure you don't have any unecessary programs loading up into windows when your laptop boots up. The next time the system randomly reboots check to see if the laptop feels a bit warmer then normal. Could be that your air vents are being blocked by dust. That would cause the air not to flow properly. Take a can of air and blow the vents clear so the air can flow properly and that would take care of the problem.
