Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

My Canon MP560 printer has worked beautifully for about six months, but this morning when I went to print it gave me the following two line error /usr/libexec/cups/backend/canonijnetwork failed Error Number 306 A communication error has occurred. I tried shutting off both the MacBook and the printer, but that didn't resolve the problem. The blue WiFi light is lit on the front of the printer

ranglo, thank you for the response. I am on OS 10.5.8. When I click on the + icon no printers appear . . . neither the Canon MP560 nor any printers at all. How do I get the printer list to appear?

My canon mp560 won't scan , It keeps asking me to place document on scanner and press the button but it still won't scan ?

Had same problem. I went into control panel and then Devices and Printers and then right clicked the MP560 printer. You'll find a "start scan" option there. Click on it. It works for me, even though my printer still won't scan using the buttons on it...

I want to align the print head on the Canon MP560

In the software that came with the printer you will find Canon My Printer. There, at maintenance, you will find the align heads option. Also, you can go to Control Panel - Printers and Faxes, right click your printer, select Printing Preferences, then go to maintenance tab. Good luck!
