Question about Cameras
If it is not under warranty and the camera is working good and your not facing any problems then i believe that you don't need to send it for a service.
If it is still under warranty then please go ahead.The service will be free of charge anyways so there is no need too worry.
I will post some ways to protect your cam from dust and sand..
