How to fax from glass on laserjet 3330

I need to know how to fax from the glass on the hp 3330 laserjet,I know it does it somehow I used it before but now my feeder isn't working and I need to fax something. Please Help! Thanks

Use the alphanumeric buttons on the device control panel to dial the number.
If the fax number you are calling has been assigned to a one-touch key, press that key.
If the fax number you are calling has a speed-dial entry, press phone book, use the
alphanumeric buttons to enter the speed-dial entry, and then press menu/enter.
Note When dialing by using the alphanumeric buttons, include any pauses or additional numbers
that are necessary for the call, such as an area code, an access code for numbers that are
outside of a PBX system (usually a 9), or a long-distance prefix.
2. Load the document onto the flatbed scanner face down.
select YES when Send from glass? 1=Yes 2=No
appears, and then press menu/enter..

Problems with hp laserjet 3330
suspect either worn ADF(automatic document feeder) pickup roller or there is a jam in the ADF unit where the paper feeds to the scanner.

When sending a fax, do i face the front side of my document face down or the back side down?
If you are faxing using the feeder , the front page will face up. and if it is on glass/scanner will be faced down.

I have an hp laserjet 3330 copy/fax machine and it keeps saying power off, power on, power off, power on...It doesn't seem to have a power switch but I've unplugged it and plugged in back in but the...
The scanner is either worn out or just dirty. If you can remove the top glass you can gently wipe the mirrors and lenses with a Q-tip and clean the white strip on the underside of the glass. If that doesn't help the lamp is just worn out not putting out enough light. Parts are not available for that so it could be time for a new machine.

I have a HP LaserJet 3330 copier/printer.When I use the document feeder on top I get a black line. When I put it on the glass, no black line. Help!
You may have some thing like a small piece of paper or some other obstruction in your document feeder mechanism that is blocking the light to the document or ostructing the view to the image sensor. Carefully clean that feeder and rolls perhaps by blowing.

Describe your hp laserjet 3330 ?
The problem may be in the machine you're sending to, if you get a copy thru the adf or on the glass with no lines, it's the same image you would send thru fax. Check the narrow glass though, I usually find white out on that glass and have to clean it off.

The hp laserjet 3330 diverts to fax too quickly
Hi,

What you need to do is on the printer, hit the menu/enter button, then scroll through until you see "Fax Setup" click enter, then scroll until you see "fax receive setup", click enter, then scroll until you see "rings to answer". Here can you set it to a higher number of rings, just remember to click enter once you've got the number set to where you want it.

Does this happen both when copying and printing?
For printing solution, try another toner cartridge.
If lines continue to appear when copying (primarily through the automatic feeder) then lift the auto feeder, and clean the glass -mainly the narrow piece on the left side.

Hp 3330 line prints on document when faxing or copying
does this problem appear when you copy from ADF? if yes check the rollers, perhaps something stuck on them.otherwise try to clean the glass
