Question about Alpine DVA-9861 Car DVD Player

1 Answer

I have an Alpine dva-9861 deck. Everything works properly except, the play on the dvd will not play. Somebody told me that it could be the e-brake (so you can't use the dvd while driving) setting or something like this? Does anyone have any idea's? Thanks, adam

2 - You've burned songs in a different format than required by your car player
1 - you'd be able to do it through BT if your car has this feature. Just pair them

I purchased an Alpine Remote RUE-4168 to work with my DVA 5205. Is there some setup procedure needed to sync these two items or should it be plug and play? because nothing is happening.

The DVA-5205 has to have an infrared remote module plugged into it to receive the signal from the remote. I have one also and it doesnt have one and it wont do anything without it. I'd like to know where to get one if you find out. Alpine seems to stop making everything for older models once they come out with new ones.

ALPINE CVA 1003 AND A DHA 5680 DVD/CD CHANGER

you have the amp remote wire hooked to the power antenna lead instead of the amp wire on the deck otherwise just hook it to a switched +12 volt source. You sure you got a DVD changer instead of just a cd changer
