HI When was the last time you descaled? This can have a temp lowering effect if you don't descale on a regular basis. Program you water hardness so its set on 4. This will tell you when you have to descale. Descals is not the same as cleaning. Its a special acid that disolves the deposits inside the boiler.

It needs to be modified to prevent it from coming out again. You have to disassemble the top to get it back in. There are 2 holes that the scraper slips into. It has to be at a certain angle so the pins go in. that is why the top has to be off.
