Question about Toshiba DKT-2010 Corded Phone
Go to the NID (normally gray or white box on the side of your house) with a corded phone and plug directly in here.. if there is no dial tone here then you need to call the local phone provider to come make the repairs free of charge... if there is dial tone here, then the trouble is inside...
when the line is called if the phone rings busy, or goes straight to voice mail then you are looking for a short, or defective phone... if the phone keeps ringing then you are looking for a broken wire.

To program a speed dial on your phone, enter programming mode (press #9876 on your phone). The phone will display "USER PROGRAMMING MODE." Press the Spdial button, enter a speed dial number (100-119), 9 plus the phone number you wish to dialed (1-213-555-1212 for example), then press the Spdial button one more time to lock it in. To use a programmed speed dial, just press the Spdial button plus the number.
