How to enable a wireless mouse?

No. That model of laptop does not have a special RF transmitter or Bluetooth adapter factory installed, so it has no special way to connect to a wireless mouse. If you have a wireless mouse, and if you wish to use it with this computer, you will need to make sure that the mouse has fully charged batteries, connect a USB receiver for the device to the laptop, wait for the receiver to be recognized by the laptop's operating system and then verify that the mouse is synchronized with the receiver.

How to connect to laptop

Using a wireless mouse with a laptop is a convenient way to avoid using the laptop's built in mouse.

Moreover, even if you use an external mouse, carrying a wireless mouse is easier than the wired version.
Here is how to use a wireless mouse with a laptop.

Ensure that your laptop is compatible with a wireless mouse.
Most wireless mice use Bluetooth technology.
Any Bluetooth enabled laptop can connect to a Bluetooth wireless mouse.
Unpack your mouse and insert batteries to the battery chamber.
While doing so, make sure that the positive side of the battery is inserted into the positive niche in the compartment.

Place the mouse in a way that makes it easy for you to use and less stressful for your fingers.
Use a wireless receiver if your laptop does not have an built in wireless receiver (either Bluetooth or 802.11b).
It should be kept at least eight inches away from the laptop or any other object that would cause any interference.

Insert the drivers, if any, for the mouse to function properly.
Connect your receiver to the laptop by plugging in the mouse's USB connector to the USB port of the laptop.
If you do not have any free USB ports, simply use an external USB hub for more ports.

How do i connect my wireless i.t.works optical mouse model MWO03 to my eee laptop windows 7?

Follow these steps :
1.
Check to see if your laptop supports wireless technology (Bluetooth, 802.11 or other). If it doesn't, you will need a wireless receiver. If it does, verify that your laptop is compatible with your wireless mouse, which could use either Bluetooth technology or a radio signal.
2.
Unpack your mouse and open its battery compartment. The wireless mouse won't receive any power from the laptop, making batteries necessary.
3.
Add new batteries to the compartment. Make sure that the + battery end is inserted into the + niche in the compartment.
4.
Place the mouse where it is easy to use and least stressful on your fingers.
5.
Place your wireless receiver appropriately if your laptop doesn't support wireless technology. The receiver should be kept at least 8 inches away from the laptop or any other object that would cause any interference.
6.
Place the wireless receiver anywhere from 8 inches to 6 feet from the mouse.
7.
Insert the driver CD into your laptop and follow the instructions to install the software for running the mouse.
8.
Connect your receiver to the laptop by plugging in the mouse's USB connector to the USB port of the laptop. If you do not have a free USB port, simply use an external USB hub for more ports.

I just purchased my first laptop...and do not like the touchpad...I want a wireless mouse...can I use a wireless mouse without being connected to wireless...in other words can I use a wireless mouse while...

Yes, the mouse most likely uses Bluetooth to communicate with your laptop and is independent of your wired/wireless connection to the internet. The mouse should have come with an adapter that plugs into one of your USB ports. Plug it in and once the drivers load (automatically), your new wireless mouse should be working!

There isn't connection between the wireless mouse and laptop

First, reload the softwear than came with the mouse. Then, check the cable connections from the receiver to your laptop. If USB, then unplug and replug, if PS-2, unplug, replug, make sure the cord(s) are seated fully in the laptop. Then change the battery in the mouse, push the connect button on the mouse, and you should be back in business. I have Logitech wireless keyboard and laptop and have not had any problems after reinstalling and checking batteries and initiating the reconnect button. You will see a small window on your screen saying the mouse is connected on Channel 1 or 2. I hope this will help you.
