Your TV monitor cannot support the format (scan rate) that your computer's display card is putting out. Go in to the computer's set-up for the resolution under the display properties and adjust the settings to support the TV monitor. Refer to the TV's instruction manual to see the supported formats.

When going back to the computer's display, the display format will have to be changed back to have the proper resolution.

TV sets are generaly not as good as dedicated computer monitors for use on computers.

"format not supported for at least one track". GOODMANS GDR10 DIGITAL TV RECEIVER. need help to fix the problem.

Problem is not "fixable." The error means that the input signal you have plugged in is not supported by your television.

I am trying to connect my pc to tv with vga cable but its telling me unsupported video format

There are two things you need to check for this to work. On your TV see what resolution is supported. This will be available from the menu options on your tv remote while on the PC input (for most TVs)

On your computer, plug into a known working monitor and change the resolution to the one supported by the TV, or possibly lower. Then plug back into the TV. You should now get a display if you have set the resolutions correctly.

Hope this helps

Screen turns blue after Windows XP boot. It is

You cannot set your PC video resolution to 1920x1080 @60Hz?

Per user manual:
1. Set computer to a resolution supported by your HDTV (see Preset PC Resolutions). If your
computer supports it, we recommend 1920x1080 @60Hz.
2. Turn off the power to your HDTV and Computer.
3. Connect the VGA cable from your computer to the RGB PC jack on your HDTV.
4. Connect the 1/8-inch audio cable from your computer to the RGB PC Audio jack on your HDTV.
This step is optional and only needed to transmit audio from the computer through the TV.
5. Turn on the power to your HDTV and computer.
6. Select RGB using the INPUT button on the remote control or side of your HDTV.
Note: Refer to your PC computer user manual for more information about the video output requirements.

Lcd tv wont let me view pc input

First, make sure you do not have a bad cable going from the PC to the TV.

On your computer try the following:

Go to START, CONTROL PANEL, DISPLAY PROPERTIES

Make sure you have the secondary monitor enabled.
Set the screen size for the secondary monitor to 800 X 600
Go to ADVANCED PROPERTIES and make sure the refresh rate for the secondary monitor is set to 60HZ.

These settings on the PC should make the picture compatible with most all TV monitors. If the problem still persists then you may indeed have something wrong with the TV.

'Input Format Not Supported' (please help me!)

OK try booting up in "Safe Mode" Press F8 just after Turn on, when and if ya boot into safe mode then adjust your Video settings to say 1024x768x32bit and then reboot, if all good then when you are at the desktop, then adjust the settings to whatever you require... maybe 1280x1024x32bit.. Ya all good. If this doesn't work.. try the Monitor on another PC.. see if it works... if it does.. then maybe ya Video card is going/gone "Toes up" if not, then ya got a fault in your monitor, usually some sort of Power Supply problem or the like.
