Driver sound card in dell - Computers & Internet

Hello, if your sound card says "Null" it means that your computer isn't seeing the drivers for the card. Here's what to do. First, find the exact model of your Dell. Write this down. Now go to dells site and look for "Sound" drivers. http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen Download the driver and run it. This should install the newest drivers for your sound card. Turn off the computer and re start it. That should be it. If this doesn't work your sound card may be bad. Hope this helps.

as with most dell pc they dont use factory audio cards you need to find out what sound card your pc has and then go after the correct driver for it in my experience we have found that 99% of all hardware in dell pc's are intel except the sound card to have it detected go to dell.com and click on driver updates then install check to see what sound card manufacture it finds.

You mean the drivers? If the sound card is missing, then you should go back to the store and get it back. You can download the driver for the sound card at the Dell support website (www.dell.com). They will ask for the service tag number of you computer and direct you to the driver download page. There you will find the driver. The store should of done this for you!

The Speakers themselves do not require a driver, but your sound card does. You should be able to get the drivers for your Sound Card from the Dell website Support Page (if you have a dell computer.)

what you need is drivers for your sound card,, if you have a hp look for hp drivers, if dell look for dell drivers,,

when you find the right web site you can downlod the right drivers for your sound card.
