Question about Televison & Video
You probably got a HDCP compliant device (your RCA and your player) connected to a non-compliant tv (your Samsung) so when you try to play something the setup is considered as a attempt to illegally copy the file in question so the image is blocked. This is easy to test - if your player accepts it just play an avi file if the image appears you will know for sure that you cannot use this setup to view commercial disks. Your only hope is to connect them using the Component connectors.
