there could be two reasons for such a behaviour, 1. Magnetic Field, 2 Heating. in both the situations the unit starts to build static charge. and you need to reset the unit.

You can

1. leave a space of 12 inches radius, for the unit to breath, that would take care of the heating issue

2. in case of a Magnetic field issue, you would need to change the location of the unit.

Try these and this should fix it.

If it is not a problem with the "data" cable between the motherboard and the video, then it's a problem with the video-adapter circuitry on the motherboard.

Connect an external monitor when you see the "lines".
If those lines also appear on the external monitor, then it is the video-adapter that is generating those lines.

Rear brake line that runs from caliper to frame needs replaced

You can purchase different size (diameter) and length brake lines at an auto parts store. They are inexpensive. The lines are already 'flared' to be connected to another line, all you have to do is disconnect the old line, and attach the new one. Spray the connections several times a day for a couple of days to make them easier to separate. you will also need to bleed air out of the replaced section for the brakes to work properly.

call philips to get this srviced under warranty. this repair might take a few weeks because the failure could essentially be any one of several parts. first thing to try is the ssb, then the logic board and lvds cable. if none of these work then you need a new panel
