What is purpose of pull lever on top right of decorative panel

We have lost our manual for Maytag air conditioner model M7Q08F2B-A. There is a little lever to the right of the energy star symbol and above the control buttons. The lever pushes in and pulls out. Can you please tell us the purpose of this lever? Thank you

It's an air intake vent damper. If you push it in, the unit won't pull any air from outside, instead it'll recirculate air from the room. If you pull it outward, it allows the unit to pull air from outside. During the day when it's hot outside, the lever should be pushed into the closed position to allow for more efficient cooling. At night, if you want to exchange air from outside when it's cool enough, pull out the lever to allow that to happen. The unit will exhaust hot air no matter if this switch is in or out.

I cannot tell you according to model number. I'm sure it is the exhaust lever. Almost all window or through wall air conditioners have a lever that opens a little door in the back of the air outlet duct. When open it exhausts some of your room air outside. Basically you are using your air conditioner as an exhaust fan when this is open and blowing most of the air that your unit has cooled outside. Allot of times the wire going from the lever to the door or the plastic is broken not letting this door open or close. If you take the front cover off of the air conditioner and look in the duct where the cold air comes out of the front of the unit you can actually see this door or the opening that it closes. Make sure it is shut and your air conditioner will cool much more effectively. This is probably when the lever is pushed in.

I cannot get the green decorative stitches to work. I'm insure if my Bernina 930 is broken or I'm just unfamiliar with this machine. How do I set my machine for the embroidery stitches?

There are 2 levers on the top that need to be set. One shows the green stitch selections. That needs to be set to your stitch choice. To its right, there is another lever called the "changeover lever." It needs to be pushed all the toward the back of the machine--that switches it from straight stitch to decorative stitch.

Then on the bottom front on the right is a large knob. Both the outer ring of the knob and the inner knob perform different functions. One drops the feed dogs for darning or raises to activate the feed dogs to pull the fabric through the machine. The other part switches between the red and green stitch selections. When that knob is turned the light should show green or red to coordinate with the stitch selection lever on the top of the machine.

So to make decorative stitches, there are 2 levers that need to be moved plus the red/green activator knob. In addition, you will want to adjust the stitch width dial and the stitch length lever to widen or lengthen the stitch.

What is the setting for the push-pull lever on the right side of my in-window air conditioner? thanks

If you want to pull fresh air into the room and not use the cooling part of the unit. pull the lever out. If you don't want to introduce fresh air into the room during the cooling cycle, push the lever in.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Does the Frigidaire FAH106S1T Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner recycle inside air or pull in air from outside? Also, how do I close the vent on this model?

yes it does recycle the inside air - it 'does not' pull outside air in (in the air conditioning mode).
The 'exhaust/outside air' vent - 'if it has one' (some don't these days) will usually be a manual pull/push lever, although I guess it might be a electrical/electronic switch.
hope this has helped.

There is a lever on my window unit, i'm not really sure what it's for but when it rained the rain come in throught the air conditioner. should that lever be pulled out or pushed in

It is for out side air,but rain is not supposed to come threw it,remove the unit from the window and clean it out, there is most likely trash in the unit making the rain water run in the house.

Where does the capillary bulb go?

Are you talking about t-stat sensing bulb? just to let you know it is connected to the thermostat on the front panel gauged 1 to 10 looks like a bulb that just mounts to the front of the coil that is inside the house. Should have like little clips that sink into the coils and clips onto the copper tube. Then put the filter on top of that then the front cover. I really hope that is what you are talking about. ken

Window air conditioner

There should be a lever marked vent, fresh air or something like that to draw outside air in. I'm not sure what you by dry because 50% of a/c is dehumidification. This maybe a sales feature. Please call me at 504-722-3946 I own an a/c company and like to know more about this feature.
