Question about Coby MP-610 MP3 Player

1 Answer

My coby 610 8g isn't playing properly.I think it needs an equalizer but I can't find one on it. It should have one. The sing vocals are so faint you can't hear them, and the music and back vocals are fine but they are fuzzy and sound weird too. It's not the headphones because I've tried other headphones and it didn't help. The song sounds fine on the computer. What's wrong?

    Thanks mangonia4,
Because of you i have found the equalizer but it isn't fixing it. I've tried every option in the equalizer. So if it doesn't need an equalizer than i'm clueless on how it is playing so horribly when it was playing fine a couple of months ago. Any other advice?

How to equalize vocal mic

Equalization will vary depending on the person singing, as well as the acoustics of the room. Thus, it is not possible to have a single answer to this question.

How can I get a professional sound out of my vocals; what I'm trying to say is how do I edit my vocals to get that studio effect or what ever, like all of that panning and equalizing business and so...

first, you need a hugh quality studio mic or a seinheiser, sure sm 58s and cheaper mics sould muffled compared to real studio mics.

whatever mic you have, the key to the studio sound os overtracking. record your vocals, singing exactly the same, 2 times, and pan 1 take to the right, and another to the left. this will give it as chorus effect.

then, use an eq to drop everything below 500 hertz about 20 decibels or so, thios will make it cut above the pusic and sound clearer.
after this, you can add effects such as delay, reverb and maybe chorus, but too much effects will muddy the sound.

I want to record vocal voice trhought mic on psr 9000

You could record short "samples" to be used in building new voices, however, it does NOT appear that you can record a vocal song with the PSR9000. The Tyros II and III have the capability to record vocals but the PSR9000 and Tyros I do not..

When playing back an arrangement, you can re-sing the song and have the vocal harmonizer track the arrangement.

NO BACKGOUND VOCALS

Hi im joe,
Regarding your concern the ET 3000 magic sing does not have background vocals at all. The manufacturer design the magic sing for sing along purposes only but they are now improving there future products to have that feature with background vocals.

Music plays, but vocals are weak

Check and make sure you hook up the speaker wires correctly to the stereo, they are color coded. This unit does not have manual equalizer settings.
