Whirlpool ADG 7550 integrated dishwasher not cleaning properly. Ive checked the filter and there are no signs of blockage. There is no unusual beeping but there is however a weird motor noise that just appeared. Dishwasher appears to run through the cycles but most of the time there is still traces of food left behind. It takes about 3-4 washes to clean the plates. Sometimes there is a lot of soap residue left around the release door which leads me to believe there might be a pump issue? ive opened the dishwasher mid cycle a few times and water does seem to be pumped around but may not be at full pressure. Just throwing it out there in case its a common problem!. Thanks

Hi,

I have an older dishwasher also and recently my wife also complained about it not cleaning right... so me being the man I am tried in vain to clean the things... Bought new spray arms online and installed them in minutes...now the thing works like new... However I have also found that if the heating element goes bad then that also can mess things up bad... So I would buy new spray arms, and also check out the heating element to make sure it is working... Here is a tip that will help you with the online buying...

Whirlpool ADG 957 Dishwasher not draining water?

There is a remote possibility that the drain line is clogged. Most units should have an aerator on the top of the sink area HOWEVER some are hooked up directly into the garbage disposal and it's at that point where the line can be clogged. Remove the clamp and make sure the line is clear or the hole in the disposal is clear.

My whirlpool ADG 7540/1 doesn't heat up properly when washing, sometimes "lukewarm", sometimes a bit warmer still but not the 65 c of the programmed wash. Any ideas?

I have a Whirpool ADG7540/1 integrated dishwasher that goes straight to rinse programme, it is 6 years old, has it come to the end of its day or is there someone out there that can help? Sheelagh Fed up (Pontypridd)
