Cant get songs onto ipod shuffle.(daughter has ipod touch)

Hi there,
When you go into the ipod section on iTunes, click the music tab, make sure 'sync music' is checked and 'selected playlists:' is also, then check the playlist you want to use. Click 'sync' button

If that don't work go back to the summary tab and hit 'restore' and follow the instructions to reset the ipod, resync and all should be fine.

I pod touch

Hi K,

Has it frozen? Does the Standby button work? Does the touch screen work? If the answers to these questions are No-Yes-Yes (as I am assuming they will be based on the little info you've already provided) then it is a hardware problem with the Home button and needs returning to Apple for replacement (They wont fix it, they'll just do a swap over of the entire device as it's 'brand new')

Used ipod wont recognise in itunes

If you are on a PC the most common reason for iTunes not recognising is because of driver corruption. The easiest way to resolve this is to download the very latest version of it from the Apple site and reinstalling it. If that doesnt work, reset the device by holding down Menu and Select until the Apple logo appears then hold down Select and Play together until the display reads 'OK to Disconnect'. Now connect it to your PC. iTunes should now recognise it and you should click the 'restore' button on the ipod main page of iTunes.

No sound when on

So assuming that you have already tried different headphones or speakers and that you have also checked that the socket is free of lint etc., do this:
  1. Goto Settings>VolumeLimit and turn it all the way up
  2. Goto Settings>EQ and turn it off
  3. Goto Settings>SoundCheck and turn it off
If it still doesn't produce any sound then it is a connection problem with the headphones. I do repairs for this. Contact me
