JUST GOT TWO NEW FRONT TIRES,(AND BALANCING). NOW THERE IS A CONSTANT NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT END AND GETS LOUNDER AS ITS ACCELERATED. SOUNDS LIKE A RUBBING OR HUMMING NOISE.

Sounds like a wheel bearing or bearings going bad.

Humming or 'howling' noises are indicative of a bad wheel bearing especially on acceleration.

Good luck on this repair.

A/C -Heater controls
Has you are aware the A/C Clutch compressor is engaged at all times when the defrost mode is turned on. Turn off all heater controls. If the noise is gone it will be either the Air conditioner compressor clutch bearing or possible the idler pulley bearing .

Volume when on tuner is very different than when on DTV

Under the input menu, there is a volume trim function which allow you to increase or decrease the volume level of each input. It is designed so that the volume of different components can be matched to prevent a blast of sound when changing to a lounder output. You can increase the alevel of the dtv input, and decrease the level of the tuner. Tuner volumes are usually high.
