Here is the manual.... : http://www.smallenginewarehouse.com/images/manuals/GCV135-160.pdf

On page 28 of the pdf file it says you have to shut off the fuel and then remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and then tip the engine to drain the oil.

Air filter cleaning procedures are on page 31 of the pdf file.

Thanks for using FixYa.

What does a major tune up for a 2004 chevy impala consist of? What should be done and needs to be done?

New spark plugs, oil and oil filter, transmission flush and fill, fuel filter, air filter, coolant flush and fill, clean throttle body plate and bore, clean the MAF sensor, replace any loose or cracked vacuum lines, PCV valve, new air filter, new battery.

99% of the time all you should ever need for a tune up is new spark plugs, and a clean air filter and throttle body. But since your inquiry indicated "major" I gave it more critical thought.

Here are a few things to look at:
Have you replaced the air filter? Have a compression test done on the engine, could possibly be a leaking vale. If any vacuum hoses have been removed from the engine they will have to be re-installed. Solid Lifters out of adjustment can cause incomplete combustion. Make sure engine is reaching proper operating temperature (eg. thermostat). Do not use low grade (octane) fuel for test.
Clean oil, tire pressure, brake drag?, every little thing counts.

I need to know to change my oil on my honda shadow aero. I would also like to know the best oil to use, how much oil and in general a brief description of the process, thanks! (this is so i dont have to...

You will need an oil filter (Fram,Honda, Emgo) an oil filter wrench (Honda or K&L) an aluminum oil drain plug washer, and any oil that has the JASO MA motorcycle oil rating. 10w-40 for cold climates and 20w-50 for warm climates and touring. Do not use any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label it will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. Center stand the bike, use the wrench to unscrew the filter and place it in the pan. Wet the lip of the new filter with used oil and screw onto the engine. Be careful not to over tighten ( you will regret it next oil change). Place the pan under the drain plug and remove using a six point socket. Inspect the aluminum washer if it looks like a normal washer re use it. If it is deformed replace it.Put the drain plug back in with the sealing washer and snug it up tight. Do not over tighten , it only needs to seal the oil in not hold a cylinder head on. Grab a funnel and take out the fill hole plug , usually the dip stick on a Honda and pour in 3.5 quarts of oil. Put the plug back in , start, and run the motor to fill the oil filter. Now check the oil level and top up as needed you should not need more than 4 quarts total. If you want the bike to run cooler and shift easier you can use synthetic oil ( costs more ).
