Mcdevito75 here Look very closely at the back cover for anything that will line up with the case, as an example a little cut out in the cover for the stem (winder) and or any small indent in the cover and case or tab on the cover, line everything up carefully then place the watch face up on a sturdy table, countertop and with the palm of your hand press down evenly, this should snap the cover back on. If Not, see a small watch repair shop in your area as they will use a special pliers to clos the back cover.

I took the back of my armitron watch to replace my battery and now cant get it back on

if your watch is a snap on type of caseback and it is round, it is difficult to push it back or close it you have to use pressing tools. if you don't have it, you have to bring it to watch service center to close your caseback. because they have it. i hope i had been helped you.

I need to change the batteries and i cant get thhe back off

mcdevito75 here, Croton, a high quality watch, Best Bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area for the battery change, these quartz movements can easily be destroyed with mis-handleing and anyway a battery lasts at least 1 year.

mcdevito75 here, You may have the mechanism off center with the buttons, remove the back, note where buttons touch the mechanism and line every thing up, you could have moved the mechanism away from these buttons while changeing the battery.

The light qit working. I changed the battery but still no light. I use this light daily since I am currently in Afghanistan and cant take it to a repair shop. Its only a year old is it time to replace it

when you took bak of did you notice a spring on top of movement about 5mm long and 1mm wide if not its been lost when you took back off you need this for your functions to work, if it is there then you need to AC the watch open watch refit battery on the movement there should be to letters normally AC or AD when you have fitted battery place a pair of tweezers or anything you can make to look like tweezers place one prong on top of movement then place other end on area at the AC symbol normally a round metal disc about 2mm wide and tap like tapping two fingers down at same time make sure your prong on the movement is touching a metal section you need to do this a couple of times..

Hi-cant get the back off my M&S watch to change battery?

The slots are intended for a special tool.

Take your watch to your nearest watch shop and ask them to do it for you.

You can get into difficulty replacing batteries and it is not worth the risk for the small cost saving.

There is a small groove between watch case and case back. This is the place where to insert the openers blade and pry up.

How do you get the back off a men's armitron watch to change the battery? Took it to Walmart and they can't figure it out.

If you don't have a watch repair kit, a small flathead screwdriver or even a butter knife would work. Set the watch face down on a soft material (pillow/towel). Insert the flat tool in the gap between the back and the watch itself. Apply a bit a of pressure the loosen and remove the back. Remove the rubber gasket covering the battery. Then you will want to remove the clip covering the battery (with the flat tool). Once the clip is removed flip it upside down and let the battery fall out
