Question about Lexmark Z2320 InkJet Printer

1 Answer

I installed my Lexmark printer in another computer since the pc where it was installed before was not working anymore. But when I tried to print, an error message appeared saying that my ink cartridge was not compatible. But the cartridge is an original lexmark cartridge included when I received the printer. Why is it so? Please help.

Please check whether the ink cartridge is inserted correctly, it might have have been misplaced due to some shake or something.

Or, does the driver has been installed correctly in the pc?

My computer wont find my lexmark x5495

It could be due to the printer driver not installed properly. Try to uninstall your existing Lexmark printer driver first before installing the new driver. To do that, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark X5400 Series Printer > Tools > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, restart your pc when prompted.
To re-install the printer driver, please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X5495 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.
Then try to print a document to verify that the printer driver is properly installed.
