Then its probably a defective evaporator fan in the evaporator coil section of the freezer,if the fan doesn't run it won't move the cooled air and can't cool anything properly

Refrigerator section stopped cooling, but the freezer section still works.

Hi. There is a valve in the top corner of the frigde that controls the cold Air to flow from the freezer to cool the fridge. This valve called a damper closes when the door is opened. You have to depress the door switch and listen for the fan in the freezer to switch on then feel for cold air to flow into the fridge compartment. The fan could have failed or the damper valve could be stuck closed.

My ctf1826ar freezer works great but the fridge is not cooling. Nothing is frozen or blocked. When the freezer door is open there is cool air that comes our of the vents in the fridge but when it is...

the frig part not cooling though the freezer works is usually caused by bad air flow due to restriction somewhere. check ur vent settings and make sure not defective, the door rubber insulation may also be defective and not sealing properly after closing? and thus cool air escapes? but if ur feeling noticing air flow from the freezer but not in the fridge, the flow is obstructed, if the flow is off and on, do u notice the sound of the fan always running or does it go off and then on, it may be defective, the only time fan should go off is when in defrost mode?

Whirpool wgi fridge freezer, fridge not cooling?

Most frideges get all their cooling from the freezer. There will be a fan and duct in the back of the freezer that pushes cold air down into the fridge. If the duct is blocked with ice or the fan motor has quit. Your freezer will work fine but the fridge will barely cool at all. Check that the fan runs when the compressor is running, ( turn both temp knobs to the highest cooling and leave door open until comp. comes on). If the fan runs your duct is plugged. If not you need a new " Freezer Fan Motor". Most are simple to replace and cost around $100.00.

2000 durango cooling system fan running non-stop

Many engine control system faults can cause the radiator cooling fan to come on and run non-stop. Also, if your A/C is on or if you have your heating and cooling controls in DEFROST mode, this can cause the radiator cooling fan to come on (normal operation). Or there could be a cooling fan circuit malfunction (like a stuck relay) causing this to happen.

Check to see what mode your climate controls are in. If the climate controls are not in A/C or DEFROST modes, then you should have your engine control system properly diagnosed to determine the cause of the radiator fan being on continuously.

Also, if the Check Engine light is on, this is a clue that the engine control system is malfunctioning.

How so get the fan uptop in the freezer compartment to work, seems the fridge is working, the compressor turn on and the everything freezes and the lower section of the fridge does not cool.

You will need to unplug the wire connector to the fan motor and check for power, you should have 120 volts when the fan is in running mode. To get it running mode turn the cool to the coolest setting when opening the freezer door tape or hold the door switch closed fso the fan will try to come on. If the fan has power but does not come on replace the fan motor. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/refertopevapfan.html
