SOURCE: 1E error LD-14aw2
I do not have specific info on your model, as I believe it is one not intended for USA distribution (where I am at) but, you might want to check the following, which applied to some LG dishwashers produced between Jan or 2005 and Feb. or 2007.
The black mastic sound insulation material inside the dishwasher door can soften from the heat inside the dishwasher, allowing the wires inside the door to become embedded in it. If this has happened, the insulation on the wires can soften and begin to dissolve, resulting in shorted or broken wires. This may cause various error codes which may send you on a wild goose chase.
Take the screws out of the door and inspect the black insulation and the wires. If any wires are embedded in the black mastic, you may cut them and bypass them with a new section of wire, then make sure to add an insulating material to separate the wires from contacting the black mastic. In severe cases, the inner door panel must be replaced (they no longer use that type of mastic) and the wiring harness for the dishwasher would also be replaced. (a set of all the wires and plugs).

This happens to my LG dishwasher every 6 months or so. It also makes a groaning sound as if the system is starved for water. The resolve the problem by removing the dishwasher and laying it over on it's right side. I then remove the two plastic assemblies that are on the left side and I remove them from the dishwasher (you will need a vice grips to remove the hose clamps from behind them, you will also need to remove the round circular water intake plastic disk that is on the inside of your dishwasher on the left hand side right in the middle of the left wall) and clean them. Once the water can run freely through these plastic parts you will get a good water flow and you should be fine. Until you have time to do this I recommend putting a few quarts of hot water into your dishwasher once you start to hear the groaning problem. This solution should be very easy for anyone who is comfortable doing their own oil change. Oh, and turn off the power supply first.

The error 1E usually means some problem with the inlet water system. Could as simple as the inlet hose filter is clogged, water pressure is low, inlet solenoid is faulty or worse the sensor detecting level of water in dishwasher is faulty and is telling the dishwasher that it is not filling up.
Do you have any water at the base when the fault comes on?
