The issue indiates that the Hard Drive sector or Operating System file block is corrupted. Try to boot the Computer in Safe Mode and check if the same issue persists. You will have to reinstall the Operating System once to ensure that the issue is with the Hard Drive only.

I want to know how to reinstall toshiba portege m200

This is in case you cannot boot into windows but you can get into bios:
Open your disk drive. Insert windows operating system disk into your disk drive. Restart your computer.
If you can get to the stage where you can see see bios entry key then keep pressing whatever key it is that you press to get into bios at start up.
Select the option that let's you choose the drive to boot from, mine is in advanced bios options. then go to either something like bios features or change boot drive.select whatever drive represents your CD-ROM drive and select it to be the first boot drive.
then save exit bios, I do this by pressing escape then Y to save and boot from the rom drive.
This will let you restart your installation of windows and
re-format the drive...
If you can boot into windows:
Then either re-format the drive and delete the partition when you do or...
Run a recovery of the system by installing your disk and letting it get to the stage wher it asks what action/task you want to perform and press r when prompted then follow the prompts to repair the files. This might not work though,
you could even try running a disk check as maybe a lucky chance of repair if you can get into windows.
If your PC keeps trying to boot from the CD drive after repair then re-enter bios at start up and change your hard drive back to first boot device to boot into windows.

It's better if you re-format though as repairing windows can be a little tricky.

Toshiba portege 3500 tablet saya tidak bisa booting lewat external cd room .. yang ada di layar monitor terbaca : intel(R) boot agent version 4.1.06 copy right (C) 1997-2002, intel...

It means that the BIOS cannot find a disk to boot.
Make sure you selected the hard drive in the boot settings of your BIOS
Remove all external DVD drives or floppy drives or ethernet cables
If you get an error message, you should start troubleshooting your hard drive.

How hard is it to Flash the BIOS in a Fujitsu laptop??? My BIOS is version 1.03 and the latest is 1.06

I've not flashed a bios on a Fujitsu notebook, but have on lots of others. Most of the time it involves booting to a floppy disk or a USB device containing the bios flash files. It's a simple thing to do, but why do you want to flash the bios? I tend to not flash the BIOS on a system unless I'm having some sort of problem.

Power on password locked

its some hard to do but maybe you can

. Your notebook
2. An empty formatted diskette (720 kb or 1,44 mb)
3. A second computer (e.g. a DOS desktop PC)
4. A hex-editor (e.g. Norton DiskEdit or HexWorks)

This is what you have to do:

1. Start the desktop PC and start the hex-editor
2. Put the disk in drive A:
3. Change the first five bytes of sector 2 (boot sector is sector 1) to: 4B 45 59 00 00
4. Save it! Now you have a KEYDISK
5. Remove the disk from drive A:
6. Put the disk in the notebook drive
7. Start the notebook in Boot Mode (push the reset button)
8. Press Enter when asked for Password:
9. You will be asked to Set Password again. Press Y and Enter.
10. You now see the BIOS configuration where you can set a new password

I have a lifebook t2440 i tired to put windows xp home editon it went to setup and started sherching for a pervious operating system and it came back and said no hard disk drive found.what versions of...

That happens because the BIOS uses a SATA controller that is not included in Windows XP install disk.

Usually you can solve the problem going to BIOS settings and changing SATA/RAID settings.Check your BIOS settings, and disable SATA RAID mode. This is done in different ways depending on the BIOS.

On HP/Compaq computers for example you press F2 on startup to enter BIOS, then disable SATA mode on bios settings.
On other makes the procedure can be slightly different.

Another way to fix the problem, is by creating your own XP setup disk with SATA drivers included, see:
Resolving "Setup did not find any hard disk drives" during Windows .

Will not start up after system recovery done with disks.

If you have a Windows XP or Windows Vista CD (or if you can borrow one), insert it into the CD Drive and restart the system. Boot from the CD, and choose the "R" for Repair console.

Log onto the Windows installation you want to repair.

At the prompt, type FIXMBR and answer yes.

Type exit.
