Haier plasma tv hp42bb 42 in.: menu not...

-   We had this 42in plasma for 10 months. Two days ago the tv turn blue and no signal message/ We call the company and they say the same thing that the remote is the problem. The service does stink, and my husband try to ask if the tv will work without the remote but they did not want to answer. They kept saying that the problem was the remote. We did not ask for a new remote instead we asked for in house service. I'll let you know what happens. -   alexanaya

-   Haier's customer non-support center REALLY stinks. They always say they'll have to call you back and they don't. They sent me a replacement remote but it was the exact same one I already had (p/n htr-282c) The thing didn't even work for 6 months! Also, if you don't have a receipt, in my case the TV was a wedding gift, they WILL NOT help you. Never buying a product from them! -   Guest

-   Hi my name is Nydia I also have a 42 Haier plasma TV and my tv has a no signal message I can not use the menu button on tv.The Haier company told me the remote control needs to be replaced I would like to know if this has happen in the past to any one has replacing remote fix the problem?-   Guest

-   I have had the same error with my HP42BB. I am curious to find out if the previous solution of buying the replacement remote p/n TV-5620-55 has solved this problem. -   erndelga
