Question about Canon BJC 80 InkJet Printer

Migrated from windows vista to windows 7. my canon inkjet i80 printer was set up but does always say printing error.. what will i do. thanks

here is some reset procedure for canon i80 printer

1. Turn off the printer.
2. Press and hold down the Resume/Cancel button
3. Press and hold down the Power button.
4. While holding down Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button.
5. While still holding the Power button, press 3 times the Resume/Cancel button.
6. Release the Power button
(printer will initialize, LED blinks in green)
7. When the Led steadily lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button 4 times.
8. Press the Power button and wait until the printer initialize again and return to menu selection.
9. Turn off the printer and then turn on again and print a test page.

My i80 canon printer not printing in black ink only in color. what is the problem? Rebecca

I think you have to check the settings on your printer, maybe it is set to print color alone, so you need to change it to print both black and color.

you can equally remove the black cartridge ink and clean the surface, maybe it is stock with dirt,

Will not print full page to EeePC laptop,But will print to full size laptop.Is there something I can download to make it work.

Mozilla has a program with i80 canon printers,
So just don't use it,us different engine to look up and print from.

Canon i320 amber light flashing will not print

I believe that 7 amber flashes refer to a cartridge error. Check that the cartridge is seated correctly.

Printer canon i320

Here is the Cannon Service Tool... you should be able to reset the printhead error using this. I've never used it myself, but it is the only fix other than a service call that I know of.
Cannon charges almost $100 for this tool... here its free.
