It sounds like your paper is set to Letter size and you are printing onto A4 size paper? That would result in a 4 cm gap difference. The engineer says the printer is okay, so the problem must be deep in settings of the device sending the prints to the printer.
you have to go into the print driver settings and tell the driver that tray 2 is installed. kyocera support website can help with instructions for print drivers
wrong... the kyocera only prints what you send to it... you need to go into your print settings and make the adjustments so it can print frames borders/ shadings... this has been my experience with explorer and photoshop... not very much fun but necessary...
