I have a sharp R 350 l. when i switched it on to heat some food it ran for about 10 secs then a loud bang.All functions work except that it wont heat anything.

Sounds like an electrolytic blew, but it could be any number of things. (Failure of one element could cause the failure of others, such as the magnetron, as well.) You could have it looked at, but if it's an inexpensive table-top microwave, it's less expensive to just go buy another.

Microwave won't heat

you have a power diode defective, high capacitor or Magnetron, test it for open with DVOM OR VOM , or better consult the qualified tech, Because this involve high voltage.

Everything seems to be working except it won't heat anything it just suddenly stopped heating.

Did anything spill or blowup inside? Remove the glass tray and be sure all is clean and dry.
If something did blow up (food or liquid), find the small mica window on the inside, and carefully remove it, clean up, dry off in the cavity too, and replace it.
Try to use. This has fixed 3 different microwaves for me. Hope it helps you.

Ge microwave digial dispaly works but nothing heats-

in 99% of casses its a burned out magnatron they can be expensive to replace but it depends on how much the microwave is worth

I have a Kenmore Microwave Model #721.80522500 that simply does not heat anything. Everything seems to work except that it doesn't heat anything at all.

Magneto or magnatron has gone bad. This is the part that sends the waves through the food to heat it.

Everything on our microwave still works( Clock,lights, fan) except it will no longer heat anything you put in it

HI. in most cases, this will lead to a failed Heating device(magnetron tube).It would be wise to check the Magnetron cutoff fuse to be sure of its integrity. if the fuse is blown, simply replace it. if the fuse continues to show continuity, replace the magnetron.

(((The fuse is located inside the unit along side the magnetron)))

Won't heat

Do the inside light and turntable come on when you try to cook?

Is it making any unusual noise or is it louder or quieter than normal?

Do you have the model number?

Hello,

what this means is that there have been a disconnection from the element i.e the heat provider is it silver in color
or it weak it might need a replacement ,what you are to do to fix up this problem is to open (unscrew) then trace the wire down to the element if there is any loose wire the fix it up on the element but there non it mean that the element will need a replacement
You can get this element in a good technician hop around you for the replacement
