John, Go to Tools->Settings->Tones->Keypad. Here you will fine two options for keypad. Keypad Tones On or Off and Keypad Volume. Please use both.

i had the same prob, but i found out that you go into phone profiles(eg. silent,normal.ect.) you click options, edit go to the last option(phone sounds)and click down untill you get to the volume option you then select it and turn it down untill it's muted. Save and then do to all the profiles that have the volume option
