Speakers with JVC KS-AX6700 Amp

I have a JVC kd-r616 head unit and an older JVC ks-ax6700 two channel amp. Im wondering what sort of speakers to put with the set-up? Its going into a ford falcon AU ute which I'm pretty sure has 5x7 speakers as stock standard. Should I go for an aftermarket pair of 5x7's? Or do a little work and try to put 6" component speakers in? Will the amp be satisfactory for my application?

I have a jvc kd r310 cd player and im running a 4 channel amp and 2 subs. How do i hook up another 4 channel amp to run my door speakers and rear speakers

There should be a "line out" on your amp. Take a pair of RCA patch cable and run it fron "line out" of the 1st amp to the "Line in" of the 2nd amp. Then wire that 4ch amp for your speakers.

JVC KD-R616 Car Audio Receiver wiring the speakers without the amp

The Front left and right speaker lines as well as the rear left and right speakers are marked on the output wires of the car stereo. These are marked and the positive line will be usually the wire with the same colour but with a line.
You can connect these individually to the speakers one by one... use the car harness if available.

If the red light is on it is going into protect mode. One of the speakers is shorting out or you have a very poor ground.

Ive got a jvc kd g140 and it cuts out at high volume.

did you hook this head unit up or did you have some one hook it up for you? most of the time it is that factory amp that makes it cute in and out. take the head unit out of you car and hook it up with a 12 volt power in your house or on you battary with a speaker and if it still cuts out the amp chip need to be replaced. let me know if this helped. thanks.

Left side crackling noise Blown channel?

Would check your balance settings. Make sure your not balanced more to left than right. Next i would try to swap over one of the speakers from right side to left to see if it crackles. If not replace left side speakers.

JVC dual bridgeble AMP

Have the speaker checked out and if it checks good you need to take the amp back to the repair center and have them test it better. Most repair centers have a 30 day warranty on the work they perform. Make sure they know what the problem is in detail, so they know how to check it properly. But my first thought is the speaker could be faulty. You can check the speaker yourself by switching them at the amplifier. If the same speaker sounds bad you know it is the speaker that is bad. If the sound is bad from the other speaker, then the amp is bad unless it is coming from the head unit. You can also switch the RCA input jacks after that and see if the problem changes speakers, if so, the RCA output of the head unit is bad, but that is less likely.
