Almost all phones have a lock function that forces you to enter a password and press a series of buttons to unlock the phone before it is allowed to dial. Turn on the key lock or the password feature and that should stop the phone from calling from your pocket.

Why won't my LG mach turn on without back cover

This is most likely because the back cover holds the battery securely in place, Most phones won't operate without the back cover on them.

Put the sim card in the phone

Need more information. Make, model of phone?
Generally you would make sure the phone is off, remove the back cover and remove the battery. The SIM card slot would be visible at thsi point. Take care in inserting the right way. Normally there is an indication to help with this. This is only a general answer without knowing what phone you have I cannot be more specific

My LG cell phone screen is frozen up.

Try a battery pull to start:
  1. Remove the back cover.
  2. Pull out the battery for approx 45 secs.
  3. Re-insert the battery and cover.
  4. Power phone back on.
Please reply if this does not work. Thanks!!

Unable to turn the phone on the only thing that happens is that the screen lights up for 1 seconds

Cell phones get worn out and break from daily use. The Motorola Razr is no exception. While this phone may be durable against minor accidents, it can still stop working without warning. From a blank screen to water in the phone, there are a few simple methods you can use to try and fix your phone before you pay for costly repairs or resort to buying a new cell phonemag-glass_10x10.gif. Try these tricks to get your phone working again.
  1. tep 1 Check your warranty. If the phone is still under warranty, contact your cell phone provider to get it fixed for free.
  2. Step 2 Turn the phone off. Take the back cover off the phone. Remove the battery and reinsert it. Replace the cover and turn the phone on. Sometimes the phone will begin working again with this simple step.
  3. Step 3 Turn the phone off and back on if the phone will turn on but won't work or has a blank screen.
  4. Step 4 Buy a new battery if the phone won't stay charged. Check that your phone's charger isn't broken or damaged. Make sure the phone says "Charging" when the charger is plugged into the phone.
  5. Step 5 If the phone has been dropped in water, take off the back cover and remove the battery. Dry the phone with a paper towel and a hair dryer on the lowest heat setting. Stop every two to three minutes and let the phone cool down before starting again. Wait three days, then reassemble the phone and try to turn it on

Hard drive not available.

Take it back to factory settings without the back cover. without the back cover which creates a magnetic field you can't access your hdd. After the factory settings put cover back on. If you can see your hdd you can now format your harddrive. If you still can't see your hdd you will have to try hard format. * 3 send on/off buttons at the same time. Make sure you are plugged in or fully charged. Just hope you haven't got important files on it. This is a common problem with n91s.

Screen with 'Insert SmartChip' message

I have the same phone, and was getting the same "Insert Smartchip" message.

I seem to have fixed it by taking off the cover on the back of the phone (the part with the Sony Ericsson name on it), taking out the large battery, and gently pushing the little blue Smartchip back into its chamber with my fingernail, as it must have come loose somehow. The Smartchip "clicks" into the chamber when it is in there correctly.

I put it all back together, turned the phone off, then back on. When it came on, it worked again.

Hope this helps!
